The Clydesdale
The Clydesdale stands as a monument to the horses that carved Australia’s agricultural frontier, whilst also paying homage to the machinery of a bygone era. Constructed from weathered farm steel shaped by decades of labour, the sculpture binds muscle to metal, carrying the scars, stories and silent endurance of a time when horsepower quite literally built a nation.
The Clydesdale will soon be on permanent public display at the new Woolworths at Bullsbrook, Western Australia.
